A guide to finding the right colour for your home with hand-painted swatches.
01. DISCOVER
Find your direction
Stand in the room and take a look around. Use any furniture, flooring or materials you plan to keep as a starting point. If the room is empty, think about the feeling you want to create: warm and inviting, light and fresh, calm or full of contrast.

02. TEST
Try the swatches in your home
Your swatches have arrived – now it’s time to see how the colours work in your home. Peel off the backing and place several swatches on the wall to quickly see which shade works best in your room.
For example, if you are choosing beige for your bedroom, one shade might feel too cool in a north-facing light while another works perfectly with your bed frame and textiles.

03. CHOOSE
Narrow it down
By now, some colours will already have fallen away. Perhaps one feels too cool in the morning, another competes with the furniture, while a third seems to work wherever you place it. Keep removing the shades that feel less convincing until only your strongest choices remain.
Leave your final two swatches on the wall for a few days and live with them. Notice which one catches the light beautifully, works naturally with the rest of the room and continues to draw you in.
